Only what you type yourself: the group name, the currency, member names, and for each expense the description, amount, date, who paid and how it was split, plus payments marked as done. Nothing else. No email address, no phone number, no bank details, no account, no password. Evenly never moves money; it only keeps track.
No tracking, no ads, no third-party cookies, no analytics. Your browser locally remembers only your language, your name and which groups you opened, so you do not have to retype anything. That stays on your own device.
Anyone with the link. The link is a long random code that cannot be guessed, and group pages are not indexed by search engines, so share the link only with your group. Anyone with the link can also add, change or delete expenses and members; when something is deleted, a short note stays visible for 30 days so the group knows it was a person and not an app error.
You do. Next to the group name there is "Delete this group completely". Click it (and confirm) and everything is gone immediately and for good, for everyone. If nobody deletes it, the group stays for 12 months after the last activity so you can come back to it. That is not to collect data; after that it is deleted automatically. Deleted expenses and members disappear for good after 30 days.
